Senior Member

• 18 Years and Older.

• Respond on emergency calls.

• Must Complete Introductory Fire Fighting Course at the Fire Academy within one Year of Joining.

• Attend 50% of all activities (extra credit activities, calls, drills and meetings, and events) for the year and durring the 6 month probationary period.

Junior/Explorer Member

• Ages 14-17

• Respond to emergency calls in a support capacity during weekdays after school hours 2:30 pm to 10:30pm and on weekend 6:00 am and 10:30 pm.

• Completes the internal Junior Firefighter program.

• Can attend Junior Firefighter Course at the fire academy or wait until they are 18 to attend the Introductory course.

• Attend 50% of all activities (extra credit activities, calls, drills and meetings, and events) for the year and during the 6 month probationary period.

Associate Member

• Ages 18+

• The status of Associate Member is created in recognition of the fact that there may be friends, family or benefactors of the Brookside Engine Company No. 1 who, while unable to give their services as an active firefighter of the Brookside Engine Company No. 1, desire to participate in the administration of and further the objectives of the Company

• Allowed to participate in and chair company committees, participate in weekly engineers, monthly business meetings, community outreach fundraising events, parades, and observe at drills
