Brick Fundraiser for New Firehouse
Welcome,
The members of the Brookside Engine Company #1 welcome your interest in our organization and request you complete the following procedures for membership application:
1) Please complete the attached Brookside Engine Company #1 application form and return it to the firehouse Sundays between 9:30am-11:30am or mail it to P.O. Box 196, Brookside, NJ 07926.
2) You will be contacted by the Investigating Committee once your completed application, references and documentation has been received and completely reviewed by the committee on the monthly drill night. Your name will be noted at the next monthly meeting, which are held on the last Monday of the month.
3) Once step 2 is complete and your interview is completed the committee will determine your eligibility for membership.
4) If affirmative action is taken you will be provided with a state relief application form to complete and obtain the necessary physical and doctors approval. Once this is completed and returned to the Chairman of the Investigating Committee your 6 month probationary membership will begin.
5) The Investigating Committee will meet with you and provide the necessary materials; bylaws, pager, keys, ect. to be a firefighter.
